As a " Phoenix Rising From The Ashes!", the first strike sample of this coin was lost in the attack on the Pentagon.

We have been authorized to make this coin available to "As many individuals and organizations as possible". A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these coins will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. This Foundation sponsors a fund to assist in paying college tuition for families of Special Operations personnel killed in the line of duty.

To make this offering as broadly appealing as possible, we are also offering Pendants and Lapel Pins featuring the same design. Exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights have been assigned to our Company. Other products featuring the design are being considered.

The original coin features the Seal of the Department of Defense on the obverse side.
